“I met Joe in 2007 as my first bass guitar teacher. Right away he made me feel at ease and confident. He was very patient and cooperative and taught me how to play my favorite songs right away while understanding the instrument. 18 years later I am still part of the band he formed with other students. He continues to lead and teach us and is a key member of our band. Joe has an innate ability to break down songs and figure out the best way to play them and keep all members of the band in sync and sounds as good as possible without passing judgement. As a result, I founded my own Bass Guitar Company and Joe has been a great champion of promoting my brand. The bass has become a huge part of my life... “My son started his Rock Out Loud journey a few years ago with the Kids Rock sessions. Now he takes vocal lessons with Mark once a week. His confidence and talent has grown significantly. Music is a huge part of our family and we love to sing together and go to concerts. Now my son is 7 and he just performed at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park singing a tune from our favorite band, Metallica. Every staff member is wonderful and professional and they truly give these kids the opportunity of a lifetime!

Update! Our son just performed at the Starland Ballroom on 6/29/25 and he opened the show with a fantastic band. His coach Mark really helped him ace the performance and got him out of shell! Thank you Mark, the team and all of Rock Out Loud for providing such a supportive music school!

8/28/25 Another fun update! We enrolled our son for the band camp this summer which is 8 days of creative musical genius. Our son and 3 other kids wrote a song, recorded it in their studio and made a music video. The coaches Maria and Chris helped foster their love for music, creativity and teamwork - they worked together so well. Our son cannot wait to return! Thank you for making this such a fun experience!“
