RWJBarnabas Newport Medical Associates

I had a very positive experience with RWJBarnabas Health. Both when I previously needed care for lung discomfort and a persistent cough, and again when I was recently feeling unwell, I was able to get an appointment very quickly.

I’m especially grateful to Drupal and Drushti at the front desk. They were both extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming. Dr. Olanrewaju was also very nice, patient, and took the time to listen carefully and explain everything.

The office also provided me with a detailed list of the blood tests they were considering so I could double-check coverage with my insurance in advance, which I really appreciated.

Angel and Chrisel, Patel and Dr. Hamsa all deserve 5 stars. Professional, warm and took all the time to explain and talk about my health issue. This clinic was my first experience with the American Healthcare System, and it was a relief to have a wonderful experience. I highly recommend, as someone who comes from a family of Doctors and from a country with a very different healthcare system, I felt at home here. Thank you all.

I had gone to New Port Medical to get my annual blood test. There were two ladies there. The nurse actually drawing the blood was fine, but from the minute i entered the second lady seemed to have a major attitude problem. It was like she thought it was a pain in the neck that i was asking them to do my bloodwork. Then after drawing my blood the nurse told me that the doctor had apparently written up an additional blood test. I told her i will check with my husband as it is his insurance and i wanted to be sure of whether it was covered.
