I absolutely love A1 Nail Salon and the owner -- she's my favorite nail tech, hands down. Every visit feels like coming home. She's warm, welcoming, and always makes sure I'm taken care of. The jazz and champagne vibes? Total luxury. It's the kind of pampering experience that keeps me coming back. That said, I do have one ongoing concern. For the past three years, Blanca has consistently been rude to me, and last night was by far the most embarrassing experience yet. As soon as I walked in, she loudly asked if I had an appointment -- which, fair enough, I had only spoken with the owner last minute and understood I'd need to reschedule. But the way she handled it was unacceptable. She made faces to two other patrons, who then laughed and looked back at me while I sat there waiting to be addressed. It was low vibrational and deeply disrespectful. I truly hope her attitude shifts dramatically if she continues working there. This salon means a lot to me, and I'd love to see every part of it reflect the same kindness and professionalism the owner brings.
This is the most welcoming salon I’ve been to in Jersey city. They’re so accommodating and make you feel at home. The owner is so sweet and friendly and all of the employees are talented with decades of experience.
Best nail experience so far in JC! They were able to take me in for a last minute appointment. Despite it being near closing time, the tech paid extra attention to detail and took her time, which I appreciated. Additionally, the team was transparent about pricing along the way and there were no surprises (except for a complimentary mini back massage - no complaints there!)
