I rented the upstairs apartment years ago,for several years. At that time in my life I really didn’t have life together was just trying to figure it out with my two daughters. Mr.Phill is such a stand up guy. I know I wasn’t the easiest tenant,but the patience,empathy,and grace this man gave is unforgettable. This man don’t know how much he has helped me and my girls. Because he never put us out and always worked with me. I was able to move out of NJ,into a house,great job and just at peace in life. This man is the reason I’ve learned what grace is. God sends his angels in all forms. And Mr.Phill your were just that to me and my girls. THANK YOU‼️

This is the oldest black owned business in Irvington. My barber Phil is a great person as well as on point with the haircut. No foolishness, cursing, crazy music or up and coming rappers here. Personable, caring and professional. All at a fair price. Bring your children, bring your cousins and definitely bring your dad or grandad.

The owner is a stand up citizen. He has been in business for over 35 years. He gives excellent customer service, a great haircut and charges normal prices. This is definitely a place where you can be at peace and away from the cursing, craziness and callousness of other places.
