Hector was great. He retiled my bathroom wall and because the original tiles weren't manufactured anymore, with their weathered edge look, Hector hand cut each tile to mimic the old ones. He was a perfectionist who fixed errors made by previous plumber. He did a great job explaining the complicated fan and light system he installed. From atop a ladder, he carefully hung a hundred crystals from a chandelier. He also left the place cleaner than when he came. What a great job. Arrived on time, did the work quickly, and supplied his own materials. He was great at communicating, too.

We are new to Hoboken and needed a complete washer/dryer hook-up installed in the apartment we recently purchased. We reached out to a few companies for an estimate, Champ Construction being one of them. Hector left a huge impression. First, he showed up when he said he would (on-time and with a positive attitude). He carefully assessed the task at hand and to truly understand the dynamic of our project tore in to one of the walls (which, to my surprise, they repaired immediately -better than it was before) to make sure they proposed the best, easiest and most cost-effective solution for our project. Hector was great to work with from start to finish. Came by to provide an estimate and gave me great feedback and suggestions which I ended up going with (that also saved me time and money). He handled various jobs for me- removed baseboard heaters and patched and painted the walls, installed and painted molding, removed old lights and installed new fixtures, etc. So happy with the result and can't wait to use him for my future projects!
