I wish I could give Ira 100 stars. She modernized my mother’s 1987 wedding dress flawlessly. It was perfect and she did so in less than a month! I came to her with such little time because I trusted the wrong tailor, Sue’s Dress Shop, to modernize my mother’s wedding dress and even though they had over a year and countless extra fittings they sloppily rushed within a week to make a mess of a family heirloom. Ira was fair with her pricing and really listened to me. I am so thankful for her. She worked a miracle.

Amazing experience getting my wedding dress alterred. Great value. Super comfortable day of! The one thing I will mention is that my bustle (a 3 point one) did end up breaking during the reception despite being one of the more sturdy options so please bring a repair kit / pins for your wedding!

Absolutely recommend. Ira handled my wedding dress alterations and a next-day small alteration on a dress for a bridal event. She and the Imperial team are quick to schedule appointments, efficient in their timelines, and reliable to communicate with. And the alterations are top notch. They have a customer for life!
I found Imperial Alterations after being ghosted the day of my wedding dress fitting with someone else (two months before my wedding).
