About Kickside Martial Arts
Kickside Martial Arts has been teaching fun and exciting martial arts classes since 2007. With locations in Hillsborough and elsewhere, they offer traditional and mixed martial arts classes for all ages and skill levels. The instructors provide one-on-one guidance and support, creating a positive environment that helps students grow and develop new skills. Many parents have seen their children improve at home and in school, gaining confidence, focus, and respect. Students, especially young children, enjoy the frequent classes, which provide good value and are designed to be fun. The instructors are patient and personalize drills to help each child succeed, ensuring no one gets lost in a crowd. Whether for children or adults, Kickside Martial Arts is a great place to learn martial arts, make new friends, and become the best version of oneself. With experienced instructors and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a place where students stay committed and achieve goals, including earning black belts.
We have had such a wonderful experience at kickside martial arts. My son is on the autism spectrum, and from the very beginning the instructors truly met him where he is. They are patient, understanding, and incredibly encouraging, taking the time to help him learn at his own pace while still motivating him to grow.
What has meant the most to us is the way they have helped build his confidence. He feels proud of himself after each class, more motivated to try new things, and excited to keep improving. The structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement have made a huge difference for him.

We enrolled our son at 4 years old in hopes he would grow to have more confidence, discipline, and skills— all while having fun. Kickside Hillsborough has done exactly that. Not only have we as parents seen progress at home, but the teachers at school asked, “ What have you started doing differently?!”
In what felt like such a quick amount of time Our little guy was doing better each kickside class. This behavior, focus, and respect also translated over to his school days. He found a confidence where he is not intimidated by “bigger kids” anymore. We’re thrilled to see him grow.

Where do I begin? The instructors are wonderful and do a phenomenal job. Our son is so excited to go to class and has grown tremendously since we started him. Would highly recommend.
