I was referred to Dr Goldberg by another Schweiger office in Warren to have a cyst removed and made an appointment after confirming that he was in the HBCBS Omnia network. I was called by one of his staff a few days before my appointment to alert me that I must pay out of pocket for the initial consultation and also for the surgical removal of the cyst as it was Dr Goldberg's office policy not to accept insurance. I confirmed that this was his personal policy and not indication of other Schweiger dermatologists. I wish this was explained to me when I made the appointment.

This Doc knew what I had, it was just a simple mole 1/4 inch big and not red and not cancerous, but due to greed, he cut the mole in 1/2 and sent in for biopsy, and left me with the 1/2 cut mole, bleeding and gave me a band-aid.. He just kept milking the system and insurance, and I am the one who suffered.. ( For someone who is in the field, they know easily what is serious and what is not, and in my case, he knew it wasnt serious, but yet, he want me to come back, and talk about treatment, and more bills !!! ) I never go back to Dr. Goldberg.. Keeping the story short, I went to another dermatologist and took care of it on the spot with a electro scalpel, no need for biopsy, no wasting my time, saw what the issue was, took care of it on the spot.. you know who am..

He deserves less than zero for a rating! I was told his office was cosmetic only, no insurance yet he build my insurance several times! He’s a fraud!!!! He charged me 900 dollars yes, 900 dollars each visit (5 visits) to treat my daughter (a minor) with a lazer to try and heal her keloids however he still billed my insurance for shots he never told me he would be giving her (I had to leave the room when she was getting treated) I had no idea and then he had the nerve to bill me for copays and he billed for consultations that I paid cash for! He’s a liar and my daughter’s keloids are not better!

Worst experience ever- If the prescribed medicine doesn’t suits you he will not give any other medicine and you are forced to continue a medicine with too many side effects that too for lifetime!!He was so rude during the second visit when I told that medicine is helping me but I am feeling the side effects more.

He would get ZERO stars if it was an option.I’m still here waiting… 2 hours and 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment. As I am staring out the window waiting patiently, I see Dr. Goldberg walking out of the side entrance door of the building straight into the parking lot and then drive by in his car. Was that really him? No doctor would leave patients waiting, right? It couldn't be an emergency because he walked so casually to the lot and not running to his car and flying out of the parking lot if it was! Approx. 15 minutes later the PA walked in and said, “sorry, Dr. Goldberg just left for the day, but another Dr. can see you shortly”. I’m sorry, what? He left for the day? How unprofessional and irresponsible! That’s how you run a practice?I would recommend the Dr. Olumesi who actually saw me, but unfortunately she’s leaving soon.

Horrible scam artist of a doctor . Refused to speak with a patient without collecting a $200 fee for a 5 minute consultation

I cannot believe that this place is still in business after experiencing how they run their practice. I had follow up questions after my brief appointment and it took nine days of me calling them (or really, their call center since they do not provide anyone with their actual office number - they even went so far as to finally call me back from a BLOCKED NUMBER) to finally get a response.
I should not have to hound some faceless person over the phone to get my provider to return my phone call to answer a few questions I had after being basically shooed out of the office without taking the time to answer my questions then and there. This experience was so dreadful and unnecessarily stressful, I cannot convey how displeased I am.

Don’t fall for the zocdoc reviews , they’re paid for , the doctor has a lot of complaints. Doesn’t diagnose doesn’t observe area of concern just recommends expensive treatments that can harm you. For somebody to recommend an invasive treatment and not inspect The area it’s being used on is very unprofessional. Also they sent another bill to my house even after I paid for consultation and didn’t get treatment done. They try to scam customers by having them under the impression of coming to a ‘medical’ (200) or cosmetic (250) appointment but find a way to combine both which then gets sent to your address as a bill. They easily find a way to do this! Go to someone else.
