Dr. Alan Gingold is a board-certified gastroenterologist providing high quality services. His expertise includes capsule endoscopy, reflux disease, Barrett's esophagus, chronic liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and hemorrhoidal banding. Patients describe him as a wonderful, knowledgeable, respectful, and compassionate doctor. He listens patiently, explains everything very well, answers all questions, and works with patients on treatment. Appointments are on time and never feel rushed. He and his staff are noted for going above and beyond to help patients. Many state he is the greatest doctor they have ever had, with one crediting him for achieving their first full remission from a chronic illness. He is highly recommended.
My 4 stars are for Dr Gingold and Dr Gingold ONLY (and maybe some of the nurses in the recovery room who are very nice). While he’s an amazing doctor… the office/admin here has so much to be desired. If you have questions and call? Good luck. You’ll leave a message. Nobody ever picks up the nurses or refill line. At best you’ll get a call back in 3 days. Yes. Days. At worst… you never hear back. Many times I’ve called for refills and it takes 7-10 days to get confirmation of the refill (after calling multiple times). Another example. I have a procedure in 2 days. I have questions/concerns. I've had very positive experiences with Dr. Gingold at Digestive Healthcare, as well as with the entire team! Dr. Gingold is professional, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. Jenna at the front office is always warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful—she makes scheduling simple and is always ready to assist with anything needed, all with a kind and welcoming attitude. I highly recommend this office to anyone seeking high-quality care and excellent service!
Dr. Gingold has been knowledgeable, respectful and compassionate during my appointments. He takes the time to listen patiently and answer all my questions. So far my appointments have been on time and I never feel rushed. The one thing that I appreciate the most from Dr. Gingold and his staff is that they recently went above and beyond to help me stay on the brand medication I have been taking for a while, but was being denied by my insurance since a generic was available (but was ineffective for me). This was not an easy process, but they persisted in getting me my medication. Thanks Dr. Gingold and staff!
