“I got lash extensions for the 3rd time in my life.
I decided to treat myself, especially since it seemed like a great deal! This 3rd time I found Kim's Lash Studio in Somerset. I was able to book the appointment on their website at 11pm and get my appointment THE NEXT DAY right after work at 6pm! That's why I did it. It was a longer drive than expected - driving hurts my back lately - but the price, the 6PM time slot, the reviews, the sense of urgency... Made my drive worth it!

I'm sure there are many fabulous lash salons out there... but from the moment I decided I wanted to do it again (this past wknd) I was not able to get them done over the wknd - as I worked all wknd and no salon was open before or after I worked or on Easter lol.

Every other option - was not able to take my appt request via phone b/c they were not at the salons at 8pm or 2am waiting for my call...they had to go home to their families! Lol

Other groupon salons were more expensive, not open at 8am or 6pm to accommodate my work schedule, didn't have the BOOK ONLINE NOW on their website, or didn't have any appointments available for TODAY!

I took a chance and booked my appt on Kims Lash Studio website and had to pay a $25 deposit fee. But this fee went towards the Groupon price!

I didn't buy the Groupon online. I simply showed them the Groupon in person and they honored the discount!

They even let me upgrade to a fancier style... For a fraction of what the original cost would be! AND they waived the $30 old lash removal fee.... wait.... of my ...8? ...lol Lashes remaining on my eyes.

The previous salon I went for my 2nd time a few months ago was located in the same town I live, honored my Groupon & REALLY GOOD TOO! I HAD TO caLL them days in advance during office hours like normal ppl do... Oh and....they didn't mention a removal fee?!? But for my 3rd time they were not an option b/c they were all booked & had conflicting hours. I would of had to wait up to 3 wks to get an appt! BUT, AGAIN...THEY DID NOT MENTION REMOVAL FEE... HMMM - I GUESS Not all - but most salons charge this hindering removal fee?

All together, I paid under $100 for services -what would have cost for the $189 lashes+ $30 removal fee? And then a nice tip. I feel guilty I spent even this much on myself... In fact I might make this review anonymous - if I see the option somewhere? ...lol

John U was great, he took his time, but not forever, just enough time - I felt he was an artist busy at work... He even ended up staying after closing time- to accommodate me.

“Over the past month, I've had my first microneedling treatment and a chemical peel. Both treatments targeted fine lines on my forehead, underneath my eyes and the area below the corners of my mouth. Prior to microneedling, Lisa prepped my face with a lotion to numb the pain. The microneedling was intense as Lisa rotated the device around my face while focusing on problem areas: my forehead, eye area, my cheeks and chin to also treat my acne scars and large pores. The tiny needles penetrated my skin and I felt the stinging but Lisa kept asking me during the session how bad is the pain on a scale of 1-10 to assess how much pain i could tolerate. She used a small handheld fan and a cold compress to cool my face and reduce the the discomfort. The treatments are meant to stimulate
the production of collagen, restore firmness and brighten my skin. Lisa is caring, listens to requests and has the best hands... I expect to see great results soon!!“
