From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for by every member of the staff—BHTs, nurses, facilitators, psychiatry, and especially my individual therapist, Sean. The attentiveness and compassion shown by everyone created a safe and supportive environment that allowed me to begin healing.
Sean stood out from day one. He made me feel safe, heard, and understood. His approach was direct, yet deeply empathetic and transparent about the realities of addiction. I have now been sober for almost a year and a half. Without Summit, I would not be able to say that today. Mika, Tirzah and Dr. Williams especially contributed towards all my growth over this time since I last touched a drink or a drug. Through their expert counseling, I have developed a deeper understanding of myself as an individual, and learned countless coping skills I can use to manage life on life’s terms.
