I cant believe the audacity of this place. I walked in and the place was dirty. Huge bags of what I assumed were laundry were in the corner, and cigarette burn holes in the cape used to keep my clothes from getting covered with hair. The place clearly hadn't been mopped in a long time. The guy who cut my hair was nice enough, unfortunately I barely kept his attention as he was on the phone for 75% of the cut. Coupled with his constant rambling about how he's the best around which didn't match his actual skill led to an awful experience. The haircut was mediocre at best, topped off with way too much line up spray to cover his mistakes. The worst part however was my eyebrows. He completely botched one and didnt even bother to touch the other one. All of that for $45! $45. IN THE MIDDLE OF TRENTON. Haircuts in New York don't even cost that much! There are far superior barbers up the road who will charge you HALF of what this guy charges. I will absolutely never return to this barbershop. I should've left when I walked in and smelled the place.
Also the owner commenting and calling me a liar is actually all the proof you need to know to NOT show up here. There was no one in the barbershop, why would anyone need an appointment? LOL.

I take my special needs clients there and they are always treated well. Lamont goes above and beyond the call of duty. Gave client a football. Lamont gives great haircuts and beard trims too. Awesome service. Thank you

I went in as a walk in and was seated within 20mins. The owner was able to get me in between appointments and my hair line and shape up came out crispy. I will definitely be returning and setting up my appointments.

I was in a tight spot for a haircut for an event later in the day and new to the area, happened to come across platinum cuts and went to see if I could get a cut. Monty was busy with a customer and had a few appointments but told me he’d squeeze me in even though he didn’t have the availability and he did not disappoint the cut was fast sharp full of stories laughs and wisdom easily most enjoyable haircut I’ve ever received definitely a customer for life
