A-1 Waterproofing's worked on waterproofing our basement, in 2021. It was a large project involving digging up the old floor, leveling it, adding in multiple pumps and French drains, and we ended up having to redo all of our underground pipes. They were meticulous and timely in their work. Recently we had an issue with our sump pump, we could smell sewer water and had a lot of drain flies coming. Lou, came right away, and helped us get to the cause. It was the main sewer line from the city had backed up to our house. A small part of our drain had to get fixed as a result and they did it right away. Outside of this one issue, which wasn't due to their work, our basement which would get flooded all the time has been completely dry. I recommend A-1 waterproofing all the time.

John came out to do work on my chimney. He was professional and considerate of the areas he worked were protected from the pipe mess. He provided me with recommendations on replacing some of the galvanized that is exposed to the elements.I was happy how he kept me informed for an appointment timeframe. I had two other companies contact me, one never called back and the other person promised to show two days in a row and never did. He left the area as if he was never here.I will have John back to replace the pipes we discussed and keep my chimney clean. Great Job.

I had Frederik and he was absolutely amazing. He gave me such a beautiful and natural looking balayage. I'm a dark brunette, so I feel I often either get it so light that it looks fake, or it's still too dark and it's not noticeable enough that I dyed my hair. I'm also half Asian, so my hair is naturally very flat and lifeless. Frederik gave it honey tones just like I asked for, and he did a spectacular job blending it with my hair while also framing my face. It really pops and makes me seem like I have more volume (even though it's just dye!). I highly recommend coming to HOA and requesting him.
