Family & I looked for somewhere new to train and NJ Ronin is the place. We have been extremely happy with Danny & his staff and how the classes are run. Everyone is welcoming and willing to help you train. I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn.

We had the chance to cross train with the Ronin crew and it was an outstanding session. Danny has built a safe and welcoming environment where egos are left at the door and everyone is focused on learning and getting better. The saunas are unreal and perfect for recovery after hard training. Truly a top notch BJJ school.

We absolutely love NJ Ronin! Both my son and daughter train there and they look forward to every class. I see confidence and skills growing in them. Coach Danny is AMAZING with kids! I'd been wanting to take up jiu jitsu for a long time but felt very nervous starting in my 40's with no martial arts background. Of all the gyms I investigated, Ronin by far had the most welcoming culture for inexperienced newcomers. Coach Danny is very professional and very approachable. You learn to dive right into the training environment and you're treated as a peer from day one. You'll learn from Danny and the other coaches and also from the more experienced members.
Just as important for me is the KIDS classes. My 6 year old daughter started training and coach Danny is masterful with the kids: patient, encouraging, all while challenging them to excel. I've seen my daughter grow in confidence and assertiveness in the past 3 months while making new friends and having a lot of fun.
