Carlos is absolutely the best barber AND Braider —I’ve been going to him for the last two years and I’ve followed his services to a couple different shops and now back to Downtown! Go to Carlos and you will not be disappointed!!
We hadn’t had my 2-year-old son’s hair cut in *six months* after a truly traumatic experience at a local kids’ salon. I was nervous going in, but CJ completely changed the game for us. From the moment we walked in, CJ was patient, gentle, and incredibly in tune with my son’s mood and cues. He took his time, made sure my little one felt safe and comfortable, and somehow managed a perfect cut without a single tear (from either of us!). The precision and care CJ put into the haircut were beyond anything I expected—especially for a toddler!

I walked in with overgrown hair and a mountain man beard. Told the young barber that I needed it cut way back and I needed to look professional for an important meeting. I had the best haircut I’ve ever had here. The barber took his time, and used a razor to give me great edges and very clean cut. The inside is done very nicely, is clean, and well organized. Modern amenities including compressed air at the hair cutting stations to blow the cut hair off. Very cool vibe. I don’t speak Spanish, but we managed fine. I will definitely go back and definitely recommend this place.
