First appointment went well, exam performed, staff was friendly and welcoming. Next visit wasn’t as friendly, customer service wasn’t great. Wrote a review about my experience and got a call from the owner, David. David was very sincere and genuinely concerned. I received an apology of behalf of the staff and David did not make excuses for his staff, while still speaking honestly and professionally. I was very pleased in how my complaint was handled and will be back because of it.

Came in today around 12:30 for my 1:00 appointment. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Brady (I believe that was her name) was amazing. I went for an eye exam and she was very helpful, even writing down some contact lens solutions for me to buy. She took her time to explain everything and made the visit really easy. The place was also very clean and organized.

There is a reason this office is still here and thriving. Highly skilled and engaged Optometrists. Expert handling, by a capable, kind, and incredibly accommodating staff.This was one of my earliest visited offices for eye care, and I was always treated well here. After moving away, dealing with countless issues and gross mishandling of our eye health by other vision centers, and making over 15 calls to other groups throughout NY and our surrounding area to try and make an appointment for my 6 year old, we have returned, and I could not be happier to have found our way back to Bergen Optometry.
