Retro Fitness is dedicated to providing its members with the best experience in and out of the gym. The gym is equipped with state-of-the-art fitness equipment and offers group fitness classes, a Smoothie Bar, and a Pro Shop. Members can also look forward to a full-service cereal bar in the future. The staff is friendly and helpful, with front desk personnel going above and beyond to assist members. However, the gym has recently experienced some issues with communication during a temporary closure due to a water main break. Despite this, members appreciate the amenities and services offered, and the gym is working to improve its communication with its members.
I am truly sad to write this review. I have been a retro fitness member for 14 years and this location for 3 of those. I do love the low price, but unfortunately, this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. The gym has gone downhill significantly and egregiously. Machines are broken. The place is dirty. It’s overcrowded. Several months ago they had a Watermain break that caused them to shut down for basically an entire month. I was thinking they would give us a refund on our membership. That was not the case. I switched to Golds Gym (now Powerhouse) and tried to cancel my membership in person. They sent me to an email address. It took a few attempts and...read full review
Gym has good machinery. It could be a lot better with new machinery and more air Conditioning. Customer service is great and for a low price.
New machinery because it’s annoying and disturbing to hear machines shriek because of how old they are
Retro fitness at GreenBrook is a nice place to workout. Well equipped, friendly and helpful staff . But the time people spend on the Smith machine should be limited, not to three hours like most people do.
