As architect and owner along with my wife Ellen, we desired a virgin parcel of land to purchase with interesting topography and natural features. The sloping site was a challenge and an opportunity for many reasons.
First, we wanted to take advantage of the magnificent long-distance views, so we situated the house as high up on the slope as possible which required terracing the backyard an exciting hardscape/landscape design for the back yard. The middle terrace is dedicated to the 10-foot by 20-foot gunite and plaster plunge pool and its 6 feet at the deeper end.

We hired Custom Pool Pros to do our built-in pool. We are very pleased with the results. The workers showed up on time and the work was done very professionally. Tom was very helpful as we added a few custom “extras”. Also, Jen was extremely attentive when we visited the store to pick out colors, the coping and pavers. We LOVE our new pool and I would definitely recommend them to anyone ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Our pool and patio turned out beautiful. Construction crews did a great job and were respectful of our property. We are looking forward to spending many summers enjoying our new pool!
