The Fairgrounds are great! Depends what your attending there. The summer fair is fun, the German Christmas Market? Nothing German about it except Hayek's market food.
I found it was either junk or too expensive to purchase. While I still had a nice time, I was disappointed with this German Christmas Market.
Annual family event. Lots of good food to eat and buy. Great gifts ideas, and unique items each year. Very popular event as determined by hugh crowds and parking is usually a good walking distance away.
The Sussex County Fairgrounds are amazing! The grounds are well-maintained and kept free of trash. The entire area looks great and inviting. There are so many wonderful views of the surrounding area and so much space to exist.
There are fields for sports, ample parking, a barn area for indoor events, and a sprawling field for beautiful outdoor events. We attended Pupstock and it was a magical experience. Pupstock was exactly what we wanted it to be: hundreds of dogs being able to enjoy life. So many breeds, so many fun costumes, and lots of colorful fur dyes. Seeing the humans match costumes or themes with the dogs was heart-warming.
