Wood Heat

Sometimes should should give a place a chance despite the bad reviews. Wood Heat is the closest fireplace/stove store to our home, but we went to them LAST because they were closed Monday and Tuesdays and also based on all the bad reviews. We contacted two other stove companies with higher ratings who were rude and gave misinformation regarding taxes and local codes. Anyway, we walked in and the salesman ( Dave ) was very nice answered all our questions and provided a reasonable price so we put a deposit on a wood stove.

Wood heat provided very good and prompt service. We are new to wood and pellet stoves and it was a good experience. It was placed inside a raised hearth wood box fireplace (not real brick). I had an initial dissatisfaction with the install and chimney hood but after it was fixed it has been a pleasure. He gave me a nice break on a pallet for my troubles so they are of their word. Today is 2/25/2020 and we started firing it up Nov. 5, 2019, we used about 1 bag per day with thermostat set at 69, and gone through about 112 bags so far - give or take. From beginning to end my experience with Wood Heat in Flemington was 5 star! The showroom had tons of displays for viewing. Dave and Brandon were very helpful and provided detailed answers to my questions. I was able to make an informed decision on a wood stove for my home and have been very happy!
