Regular salon nothing fancy but good blowouts I only go for blow dry and they are reasonable walk in quick blowout and off you go . The reason I go is for the price :)

????????TLDR: Hair cut Approx 6 inches shorter than requested, looks terrible. Stylist did not apologize nor offer not to pay. Read other reviews, you’ll see other people complaining about their hair being cut way too short as well. Stay away from this place.I went to this place yesterday 03/17/23. My CURLY hair, albeit very thin, was pretty long- almost all the way down to my elbows. I asked for a haircut and a blow dry. The hairstylist, a Korean lady recommended that I get layers to give my hair some volume. I agreed and requested that the haircut be approximately 4 inches below my shoulders. I tried to make her aware, multiple times, that my hair is curly and needs to be cut about 4-5 inches below my shoulders so it doesn’t look so short when it’s curly. She agreed and began to cut.I had to remove my glasses while she was cutting the hair so I could not see everything she was doing. I did not worry, however, since we had agreed as to how and what length the hair would be cut.The stylist then says “it will be a little short.” To which I replied, “a little shorter is ok, but not a lot.”This hair stylist did NOT just cut my hair a little shorter than I had request. She cut my hair so much that it doesn’t even reach my shoulders. She cut 5-6 in. more than I had requested.I still paid her $55 and tipped her $15 because I didn’t want them to say I only complained as an excuse not to pay, which is not the case. While I was paying she told me “it’s ok you can try something new and told me to put cream on my curly hair for it to look nice.” I simply walked away.When curly, now my hair barely reaches my nose because it curls so much and I look like a boy! I hate it. I look terrible. When straight, it won’t even reach my shoulders. I can’t put my hair in a ponytail anymore. My husband also hates it. I’ve never had hair this short in my life.This hair stylist knew she cut WAY more than had been requested so she tried offering useless advice to style my curly hair when she clearly knows nothing about cutting and styling curly hair.On top of this, she did not even apologize of offer any way to make me feel better such as a discount or offer not to charge.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HAIR SALON. Specially for my curly haired Latinas/African American women, or anyone with curly hair. I actually don’t recommend it to anyone as these people won’t apologize or offer ways to make you feel better when they do something wrong.***Picture attached to this review. That’s all that’s left of my hair after coming to this place.***

I have been seeing Lisa my entire life from when I was 5 and now I’m 22 bumping up on 23 and have no intention of switching. Everyone who works there is incredibly sweet!

I have been coming here for about three years to get a Japanese straight perm and simple trim. The person assigned to me the first time was Joy and she’s been my stylist ever since. My hair is quite nappy curly (3c) - it can frustrate less experienced stylists. Joy though is a pro. I highly recommend her services.Services: Haircut
