The physical therapists were excellent, always encouraging and cheerful. Nurse MacKenzie was exceptional as were p.t.s Tara and Jessica. Unfortunately, I had to share my room with elderly patients who were attached to piercing alarms that went off when they moved. It was a torment. It took a family member plus the nursing supervisor to get my room changed after multiple requests. The shower room was not as clean as it should have been. During the day, the aides did a good job of looking after me as I recovered from surgery.

The rehabilitation team, led by Meryl, was outstanding. I’m especially grateful to Jessica and Tara, who helped me regain my strength and mobility with patience and skill.
The nursing staff were all very capable and attentive. I would like to give a special thank you to MacKenzie, who truly went above and beyond. I won’t forget her kindness.
The general care staff made a real difference in my day to day comfort. The personal care I received was exceptional, honestly better than I ever expected. I’m especially thankful to Ledy, Elizabeth, Rita, and Vera. Their care and compassion meant a great deal to me.
I also appreciated the activities staff, who encouraged everyone to stay engaged and involved each day.

We are so grateful to ALL the staff at Emerson Health and Rehabilitation - from the front desk personnel, the admissions and discharge staff and especially the exceptionally skilled nurses, PT and OT specialists who took care of our 93 year old loved one, Rachel, who was recently there for 4 weeks recovering from a heart infection. All were knowledgeable, caring, patient, friendly and understanding with both her and our family. A special shout out to nurses Charita ( Cha-Cha) and Wendy and PT specialist Cliff who were kind and patient and pushed and encouraged her when she needed it!! She came home stronger and more confident that she could continue her independent living. We viewed a handful of rehabilitation facilities in the area that were very discouraging from the onset. We were so lucky that our first impression of Emerson as a safe, clean and caring place lived up to that. We recommend Emerson Health and Rehabilitation!

The service that is offered at Emerson Health & Rehab is outstanding. Every one from parking attendant to nursing, rehab, did a superb job. One special person needs special acknowledgement, that is Tara Scimeca, she went above and beyond when treating in Physical therapy. Therefore, we received the best outcome from her individual, specific PT treatment.

Physical therapy worked wonderfully at getting my 98 year old mother-in-law from 75% assistance to 25% assistance after 4 weeks post right hip fracture! Incredible thanks to Merley and the team.
