“I was in the area and needed a hair cut. I have been trying to find a place where they can do a two block cut with texture fringe or side swipe/comb over. The place look clean and fresh, staff and reception was very friendly, got in and waited for about 10 mins, and someone took me in and I basically show him (I forgot the stylist name) a picture of the style that I wanted but just little shorter and tighter on side. I was done in about 30 mins and everything look great.“

“I found this gem of a hair salon on Yelp about two years ago and am very glad I did. Lina is wonderful and I have been getting haircuts from her since. The place is so clean, and has an intimate feel to it unlike the chain salons where it can get pretty noisy. Lina is the owner and the only hairdresser there so you will be the only client during your appointment. I like that privacy. She is an experienced hairdresser and absolutely knows what she is doing. She has given me advice about the correct way to style and care for my hair. I am very comfortable asking her questions because that is the kind of person she is. I told my husband (who is very particular about his haircuts) about her and he, also have been going to Lina for haircuts since. She is fabulous and as long as we live in NJ, we will always come to her.“

Had to wait a bit since Larry was running behind - but he gave me almost an hour of his time. See, I FUBARed my hair last summer when I was ambitious and impulsive and angry at my thick unruly hair... and attempted a very poorly done DIY pony tail cut. Like it looked like a three layer cake. Lots of regret but since I WFH and really let myself go after covid/kids, I never did anything about it until today. Well Larry done fixed it. He did give me a slight lecture (in Chinese so it felt less disappointing) but he smoothed and layered and thined my hair... and then blew dried it and made me all pretty again. Amazing. $55 was more than I expected but I could tell it was a challenge for him.“
