I had a phenomenal experience with Samer. I was looking for a 14k gold, paper clip link necklace. Samer was patient, took the time to understand what I wanted, and worked with me to find the exact chain that met my expectations.
Samer has an amazing customer centric approach, and a passion for gold and jewelry. He's courteous, respectful and never high pressure .
Further, the price and value was unmatched by any other jeweler I considered, by a wide margin.

BEWARE!!! You might get ripped off! I stopped in a few months ago to purchase a replacement stud for these diamond earrings I have had for 8 years. Robil assisted me. He convinced me to change out the posts to screw posts as well. I left my earrings with him and picked them up a week later. I was cleaning them today a noticed my diamond had a black fleck no amount of cleaning could remove because the fleck was IN THE STONE. Like a said, I have had these earrings for 8 years and this imperfection was never there. Robil must have changed out my diamond with a low grade diamond while repairing.

I found Lidya's via Yelp late on Saturday afternoon, after wanting to get sizing balls placed for some time. I called and they told me to come down. As part of the Jewelry Exchange in Edgewater, when I arrived the gentleman directed me to VK who took care of me. He took me to the back to watch my ring get cleaned as well so I didn't have to worry at all about my ring/diamond! Less than 30 minutes, and $40 later my ring is clean and fits fantastic (without needing one of those plastic ring spacers)!

The jewelry here is really cheaper than the retailers! The way it was explained is, you pay an additional price for jewelry so retail stores get their portion. We looked at a few rings and earrings that were beautiful. Our sales rep Ian helped us tremendously, and was very helpful and down to earth. We weren't satisfied with the product, and he was more than willing to assist with the exact pair we wanted. Ian ensure we were satisfied, he was a nice guy. Overall, I would return here for any jewelry. The prices here are great!

Toros and his son are very nice people. I came last year to fix a necklace and they did it on the spot.I have a little knowledge of jewelry.I was going to give them a shot. I was able to get a wonderful diamond piece for a decent price. They gave me the best advice about what necklace I should get for it.Very honest and good family owned business. I will try to buy most of my future jewels and timepieces from them.

Worst jewelry place ever!! They tried to buy my ring thats worth about 6k for 500 dollars.. worst place ever. Guy at the left when you first walk in is the worst. I sent my daughter there and he asked her some very personal questions. I hope this place shuts down! Dishonest horrible place!

Life is filled with surprises. When I moved to Bergen County over 15 years ago I went into Lydia's Jewelry for a simple replacement of a battery for my wristwatch. The owner, Jack (Lydia's father), kept looking at me as he found my face familiar. He apologized to me for doing so but within seconds we both laughed as it had turned out that I had purchased my first attaché from him back in the 70s when I was a grad student. I was impressed with him back then and in fact bought a number of leather bags from him after I completed grad school. At that time he was in Manhattan. Over 20s years had passed and now in 2001 I would move to New Jersey and meet up with Jack once again. What I want to say is that so rarely in life do we find a merchant who places the customer's needs above their own that the customer seeks out that merchant as the principal person to patronize for their shopping needs. Well I certainly did that with the purchase of all my leather bags, from attaches to handbags, and now I am proud to say I have done the same with the purchase of my jewelry! I have found the selection of their jewelry to be absolutely lovely but even more important is the personal attention given by Jack's lovely wife, Emily, and his daughter, Lydia, who has a real talent for curating the finest selection of jewelry. This is a place that will alter a necklace, a pair of earrings, a bracelet, and resize a ring so that it looks best on the customer, regardless of whether it is an expensive item or a very affordable piece of jewelry. They are genuine in their service of the customer and that kind of sincerity is indeed priceless. I am years and years late in writing this review but I thank Yelp for giving me the forum to share this personal experience with others! I recommend this place wholeheartedly! And I'm certain other customers will benefit from their well chosen selection of jewels and the extraordinary personal attention they provide in making sure the jewels are just right for the customer! Certainly a five-star!!!
