About Suneagles Golf Club
Suneagles Golf Club is a private club featuring a fantastic and magnificent golf course. It is a classic Tillinghast design with a great layout and very challenging greens, considered one of the strongest in Monmouth County. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the course is in magnificent shape. The clubhouse is beautiful and stunning, situated on top of a hill overlooking NYC, which is simply incomparable. It contains one of the best restaurants in the county, with outstanding, exceptional, creative, and delicious food. The service is top-notch and fantastic for events, with a stunning ballroom for outings. However, the valet service has been noted as very unprofessional, causing delays. Substantial improvements have been made since becoming private, receiving the attention and investment it deserves. Many players have a great experience and highly recommend it for a challenging and enjoyable round.
SCAN hosted its 4th Annual Golf Outing at Sun Eagles on October 6 and everything was fantastic! Erica the Event Manager and Steve who heads up Golf went out of their way to make everything great including outstanding food and service. The golf course is in magnificent shape. All of our players had a great experience. I highly recommend and we will be back next year!
Great course. Very challenging greens. Since it became a private course two years ago the manager has made substantial improvements. Beautiful club house, one of the best restaurants in Monmouth county.
I used to play here all the time in the winter years ago, apparently now it is private? I don't understand, it was an average to nicer public course, with some holes running next to an abandoned army barracks neighborhood, and lots of powerlines and holes exposed directly to the street. I haven't been in years, I guess I am out of the loop. Oh well. Great layout with a lot of fun holes.
