About THE COLTS NECK GOLF CLUB
The Colts Neck Golf Club features a beautiful course that is popular with locals. The course is well-maintained, with fast greens that roll true, and recent updates like the new par 4 hole number 11 provide a fun challenge, much better than the old par 3. The course is in great shape, and the layout offers a good experience, though some players mention it can be slow due to the presence of leaves in the rough and the course layout. Tee times are easy to book, and the staff, especially Devin, are known for their professionalism and knowledge. The club has a friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff, with excellent service from the bar, food staff, and the Pro shop and cart crew. The grill room offers a great place for lunch, where everything has been described as stellar, and the food and wait staff are highly praised. Although non-members cannot purchase alcohol, the club remains a popular spot for both golf and dining, with many recommending it as a hidden jewel worth visiting regularly.
Reviews
Course was clean and had fun with my friends. Cart girl was so funny and everything was great aside from the fact that we can’t buy alcohol. She explained the polo memberships, but we just aren’t around enough for it. Hope to come back next year for another round.
Enjoyed this course at the end of last season. A nice challenge and looking forward to going back this season. Yes its a little more money than some other courses, but golf is generally more expensive in Monmouth county. You get what you pay for. Nice golf carts and a driving range to warm up.
