I have thick locs that take forever to dry, so I decided to stop by Black Beauty Unisex Salon, hoping they’d let me sit under a dryer and I was fully prepared to pay for the time. But to my surprise and absolute relief, Debbie (the owner) welcomed me and let me use the dryer free of charge.

I honestly didn’t expect anyone to accommodate something like this, especially without an appointment. But Debbie came through for me. She was so generous and kind, and I’m beyond grateful.
