Dominick Ruggiero’s dedication, service and compassion was outstanding! He took care of every detail in planning my father’s service and guided our family throughout the process. He is a true professional and I am grateful for all he did for us.
My first review was a bit in haste. Since then I have been contacted by the funeral home and after a nice conversation with Louis about getting my brothers ashes to the cemetery. Since the Postal Service is the only carrier that will ship cremated remains but, they will not insure said remains, so if something happens in transit its just tough luck. I determined to spend the day traveling to their facility in Newton then to the cemetery in Perth Amboy then back home. I could have waited to see if they would have a service in that area and then they would have dropped the ashes off but I just wanted to get everything put to rest, no pun intended.
The Ruggiero’s have always maintained a wonderful funeral home here in Dover. They have always accommodated every family that I know of with the utmost professionalism and unique care. I don’t tend to go out of my way to write great reviews, but they deserve one!
