“Jeff helped install blackout curtains for our baby's room. He was responsive, helpful in selecting the appropriate finish, and did a great job installing. The blackout curtains are from HunterDouglas and of good quality and he made sure to have a bank at the bottom to maximize the blackout effect and shared appropriate handles for the windows as well.“

“I’ve had these blinds for years and still absolutely love them. They’re super easy to pull up and down, very durable, and made with great quality. One of my favorite things is the 100% privacy they provide — especially at night, you don’t have to worry about anyone seeing inside.

They’re also amazing for blocking heat and sunlight. The sun barely gets through, which helps keep the house much cooler during hot summer days. It really makes a difference in comfort and helps create a cozy atmosphere indoors.

“We had a T\\u0026G cedar plank installed on our ceiling in the living room by previous owner and hated it! Our extensive research led to stretch ceiling system which was unknown to us. We called PCS and they were fantastic! They came out and gave us a quote the same day. We also had an opportunity to see the product installed at one of the previous projects they completed. Once we approved the quote, they scheduled the installation within 4 days. The installation team showed up on time and finished the job in one day. No mess, no dust. They moved the furniture to the center of the room and moved it back once they finished. The final product looks amazing!“

“After hiring an architect and being ghosted after the first appointment I was shocked and unsure where to turn. I found Studio D and realized that I’d made a mistake. I didn’t need an architect. I needed a fun-loving design team who could take my ideas and bring them to life (and they had their own in-house architect, Hal Dorfman, who in the end, was fantastic in ensuring a smooth process). Robyn, Liz, Lisa & intern AJ were a delight to work with—their humor, kindness, and ability to keep on task regardless of the many hurdles thrown at the project along the way were inspiring and stress-reducing. They were always available, super fast to respond, and kept me sane during the entire year it took to convince my building’s engineer my apartment rehab would be feasible. Robyn was able to bring to life every idea I had in her original design plans and when they weren’t feasible she found terrific workarounds that were as good if not better. The many lighting challenges of my mid-Century building were handled with ease. Lisa kept me apprised of budget, contractors, and billing issues throughout and coordinated so many financial details. As a team, we ended up, through a lot of intense collaboration, with an end product that was stunning and beyond what any of us had originally conceived and dramatically altered the space. The many months delay in getting final approval to renovate became time to fine-tune and make creative adjustments that resulted in a spectacular gut rehab. After walking away for many months the best part came at the reveal—I didn’t want to see it until it was complete. That wow moment and the joy of seeing it 99% together was a day I will never forget. Every room has a wow factor and has so many fun, creative, and useful elements. I could not be happier and am so grateful to Studio D with the investment of time and resources that we made to create not just a home but a live-work sanctuary for decades to come.“
