This Barber Shop changed its name to Al's. The new owner is Alberto. My husband used to go here all the time. Our son has been going there since he was 2 years old ~ back when it was Johnny's Barber Shop over 40+ years ago & was still going there after it changed to Ted's and then Al's. Husband went there today and it's CLOSED and has brown paper covering the storefront window & door. Sad. I guess people didn't get enough haircuts during the Pandemic to keep the shop open. Luckily, he called our son who told him that Alberto is now at Joe's Barber Shop on Raritan Rd. in Roselle Shopping Center (near Wood Ave.) only 2 miles away.

In my opinion, Alberto and Ted are some of the best barbers around. Like mentioned above, they are old-school barbers who cut hair in a fashion that you just simply don't often find.

Ted's is now called Al's - Ted sold the shop to Al, but is still there on Thursdays, Friday & Saturday - old school barbershop Ted & Al are very good at what they do and are very friendly, with reasonable prices - closed on Mondays -
