A couple of years ago, this place was recommended to me. Since then, I’ve been satisfyingly coming here for my yearly check-ups. Dr.Tener is excellent at what she does and it’s evident that she was made to do what she does. As it’s been said, she is very warm, caring and overall, makes this kind of visit the best that it can be. Along with that, the staff also confirms this with how kind they are.

This was my first visit with Dr. Tener and she was amazing! Very bubbly and we talked through the entire exam which distracted me from the awkwardness of her putting a swab up there. She was very open to hearing my opinions and concerns. Really enjoyed my time!

I'll start off by saying I have never been a person to leave a review but my experience this past year has been horrendous. I started coming to this practice I believe in 2020 and loved it! My gynecologist was Dr. Farzana Alekseyeva, who was amazing to me! She was my doctor up until last year of 2023 because she transferred. Around the same time this practice was purchased by RWJ and this required me to do new paper work, they asked for my finger prints(I kindly declined), and my appointment wait time was now dragged to an hour to a hour and a half. My new doctor was now DR. Heghine Zalinyan, who on first impression was nice. My first visit (December 2023) took her about an hour to see me but it didn't bother me, we went over my case and I got her up to speed with my medical history. My second visit (July2024) took her an hour and a half to see me and in this visit I basically had to talk her through my medical case all over again, as if she didn't look at my file. For context, I am 26 with diagnosed endometriosis in 2021 after Dr.A my original doctor did an emergency surgery on me. That being said I had a routine ultrasound(August 2024) to do which I did following my second appointment with Dr.Zalinyan. I did not hear back from her for weeks and ended calling in September questioning why I haven't received a call post my annual visit with her or my ultrasound. They told me she would call in a week, that did not happen so I called again. A week later in my second phone call to them they gave me a same day appointment on the phone with her at 4pm. 5pm comes and I still did not receive a call so I called again and they inform me she will call soon. She calls me 20 mins later discussing my results and asking me questions all over again about my medical history. The whole conversation felt like a 3rd time having deja vu. She started to say "well the only way to know is through surgery" "we can monitor while you stay on birth control". I replied back I did have surgery and I am not on birth control in case you haven't read my file. She did not give me any solutions nor did she even seem to remotely seem to have any knowledge of my case. I expressed that patients of hers like myself could be suffering due to her negligence and the way she handled my case has caused me to not move forward anymore at this practice. She responded with "I don't have to hear this from a 26 year old girl" and hung the phone up on me. I debated on reporting her to the practice or even writing this review but I decided on writing this for anyone who wanted to read. Ultimately, I am unsure of if its her thats the issue or the practice itself since being turn over to RWJ. Regardless, I will not be returning back after 4 years of going there.

So I use to go to a different gynecology doctor and I didn’t like the staff or the doctor taking care of me, however I met this amazing doctor named Tener and she was very sweet and compassionate person! She was very detail oriented. She was very communicative through my concerns and the staff was so very polite and spoke to me with a smile. I 100% am so satisfied with the care I was provided.
