After the death of the cobbler in another town who'd long repaired my shoes and boots, I had a heck of a time finding anyone to replace him. I took my shoes and boots--which I've owned for decades--to various shops, and kept getting told, "These shoes and boots are too old. It's time to buy new ones. I wouldn't be able to put new soles and heels on these." And then finally--happily!--I found Kermoff Shoes on Clifton Avenue, in Clifton. The fellow there told me that the leather on my old shoes and boots was still good, and he could put new soles and heels on them. He said that anyone who'd told me the shoes and boots were too old to be fixed up just didn't know his craft. And he did a good job.

Just picked up my boots and was trying to pick out some shoe polish. Owner kept threating me I 'was going to be towed b/c the tow truck comes very fast.' Said where I parked was not with his shoe business. Funny thing though--I actually sat in my car for 45 minutes in the same parking space while on my phone and no one came to tow me.

Came here once to get the leather fixed on my Louis Vuitton shoes and they did an excellent job! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who has any leather issues with their expensive shoes. They know how to take care of your needs!

I have no idea how this place has such a high rating unless the owner is faking the ratings with fake accounts and pictures but this is the worst spot ever!! There is this Chinese person that works there and I don't know if he's the owner or not but he has SUCH A NASTY ATTITUDE. I never wanted to believe the stereotype that Asians in general can be rude and have bad customer service but he just lived up to it. I went in with my expensive belt to get a new hole punctured after seeing the reviews were good and it was near my house but little did I know the service is ass. I told him I wanted to get a new hole punctured and he didn't say much and I gave him the belt thinking he'll help me with the sizing and where to put the hole but he just took it and went to his little work desk and was about to punch a hole without even measuring it out on me!!! I had to stop him and I questioned him like don't you have to measure it or whatever? And he just started getting aggy and was like you're supposed to come in knowing where you want to get the hole punched. Sorry it was my first time???? I'm sure anyone would come in thinking they'll help me size it or have me try the belt on so they can see where the new hole is going to go. It was $1 to get the hole punched but unfortunately I have a card holder and I don't carry cash on me and when I told him to just charge me on a card he just snapped and started getting rude. I literally told him to stop being rude and that's not how you do business. I understand small business can't afford credit card fees and if there was a sign that said minimum of $10 for credit card or whatever it would've been fine but there wasn't so how is one supposed to know?? He legit made me go back all the way home to get a fucking dollar. Small businesses like this should just close down. Not worth it at all or change the attitude and behavior and put a damn sign that says minimum for a credit card.
