***UPDATE*** I just heard from a very nice investigator at the Bergen and Passaic County Consumer Affairs Department who reviewed my case. He told me he tried appeal to Eric Fried's humanity and apparently he has none. The only way Eric was going to do something for me is if he was forced to by law! He didn't care about me, the fact that he ruined my chairs or his company's reputation. The investigator discovered in the very fine print of the contract he has covered himself for every and any possible thing that could go wrong so that the consumer has no recourse. So BUYER BEWARE. I used fiber seal to clean a small area rug in my home that cost $2800. They said it would be best cleaned if they took it with them. When they brought the rug back all the colors had bled. They took the rug back again and nothing had changed. When I asked for some compensation, they rudely said they dont buy people rugs. But they do destroy people's rugs. They never said anything before taking the rug that the colors might bleed in fact they told me if they took it it would get a great cleaning job. Horrible customer service! Do not use them if you do not want to risk getting your things destroyed with no reimbursement whatsoever!
