A. K. Macagna has a wonderful caring, supportive and excellent professional staff.
Our mom passed away suddenly last week and we didn't have a prior plan in place. I called many places, but from the very first call, Anthony was receptive, patiently answered all my questions and most of all was caring and empathetic to our grief. They were kindness, professionalism, respect, knowledge, compassionate and very responsive. They helped to ease loved one is mind-bendingly traumatic. Helped our family begin to grieve together without any additional work.
This team was wonderful, to bring order, dignity, and serenity to the experience of the grief of losing a loved one. They were truly wonderful.

No words can describe how helpful Anthony and his team were. From the moment he returned my first call to the time we got the death certificates, he was beyond communicative and supportive.

I called Anthony in the evening - he offered his services, condolences, and guidance through the process. I later found out he was attending a wake himself that evening, yet he took the time to come to the location where we needed him. The entire process was quick and seamless, and he kept us informed every step of the way.

I had called countless of other funeral homes in the vicinity, and they were all either overpriced for a direct cremation or extremely dismissive....read full review
