My mom is currently healing from an open wound melanoma. Was on immunotherapy and is having a rash (looks to be dermatitis) and tried to get in for an appointment (recommended by our Penn team) and were told NOTHING available for MONTHS. This is not the way to handle patients in need. Unacceptable and a total disappointment.

Update,January 2026
Had stitches removed by RN Jeanette.
The wound healed great and the stitches were expertly taken out by Nurse Jeanette.
All the staff,Front desk Meagan,Zach were professional and personable.
I was thankful that they all went to work today considering the blizzard we had yesterday.
Thanks Penn Med Dermatology dept. staff, cherry Hill.

Had a complicated procedure to remove a cyst by my elbow successfully completed by South Jersey's best Dermatogist Dr. Magaly Del Monaco,DO.
Dr.Del Monaco is a professional, caring Physician.

Similar to everyone else's reviews, I also was told there are zero appointments available in any location anywhere near me. I asked to be put on a cancellation wait list, but was told that the dermatology office does not do this. I am also a Penn Medicine nurse who works at HUP and had been seeing a Penn Dermatology provider up until a couple of years ago when she switched practices. Now, I'm out of luck with completing my skin cancer screening (as a fair skinned red head who really needs it). I've never had this issue with any other specialty that me or my family has used at Penn. And I guess being an employee doesn't matter in the least.
