My (now) wife and I signed up for dance lessons about 9 months before our wedding to learn some steps so our first dance wouldn’t consist of us swaying together like we were at a middle school dance.
Our instructor, Kelly, was amazing. She was patient and provided clear guidance which allowed us not only to learn some actual moves but, more importantly, feel comfortable and confident on our wedding day.
Everyone at the studio was super friendly and supportive and we came to really look forward to our lessons. Dare I say, taking the lessons together also helped our communication and understanding in the weeks leading up to our wedding day.
Dance lessons were our favorite part of wedding planning by far. Vlad was incredible, and my fiance and I are incredibly grateful to have been paired with him. We never felt overwhelmed; he choreographed our first dance and taught us simple basics to add to the moves we learned so we could use them throughout the rest of the night! We looked forward to each of our lessons during these stressful weeks leading up to our big day and considered them more like date nights. If you want to impress your friends and family or pick up a new hobby, they have you covered!
We went to Arthur Murray not knowing how to dance at all and needing to learn how to do a great 1st dance at our wedding. We had a great time at our lessons with our main instructor Kelly and Vlad our back up instructor. Kelly organized the sessions to meet our needs and focused on our strengths when putting our dance together. I loved that she paid attention to what worked for us and what didn’t. It was a great experience and our first dance at our wedding was a hit! Everyone commented on how our 1st dance set a great tone for the whole wedding celebration! I highly recommend taking dance lessons and working with Arthur Murray. Thanks!!!
