I’ve been assisting my quite elderly parents navigate their Allstate insurance process after their basement flooded following a record-breaking storm. They’ve had Allstate insurance for their autos and home for 60+ years. Allstate made it the most complicated process that added even more stress on them before finally paying a portion of the Servpro cost for the cleanup. I recently used Servpro for a house fire and were involved in the remediation/demolition. Would not recommend at all. We had issues with a few things not properly addressed. They failed to properly dewinterize the house during demo process despite informing they will, and asking them to do it which led to pipe burst/water damage in the house. When I notified them of the damages , it took them 2 days to come to the field. Also poor workmanship during the demolition process causing further damage to the radiators and windows which cannot be claimed on the fire claim.
I would advise going with a local/smaller company who will be more responsive with better communication.

Sadly, there was a basement backup problem that required sewage cleanup. Although it wasn't particularly enjoyable, the crew managed it with dignity and maintained order. They greatly facilitated the handling of a difficult situation.

After my dog had an accident, I wasn't sure how well the carpet would recover, but now it smells and looks fantastic. The living room feels brand-new once more because all the stains and smells have disappeared.

I observed some dark patches on the ceiling and a slight musty odor in our guest bathroom. To be honest, I was concerned that it could become a larger issue. The technicians arrived, conducted a comprehensive examination, and described the exact cause of the mold growth as well as the potential consequences of not treating it. In order to prevent it from returning, they carefully removed the impacted areas and treated the surfaces. I was especially appreciative that they kept the area secure for my children while donning full protective gear. I gained a lot of knowledge about preventing mold in the future, and the bathroom now feels brand new.
