The woman cutting my hair had zero attention to detail, was extra rough with the comb and razor and just in general had no idea how to perform her job- like who shoves your head forward? I’m an adult, if you want me to lean forward, ask. She should find a new line of work. How can a “stylist” mess up a simple task like shaving the sides (they’re uneven and she didn’t even touch the sides burns)Also they starting sending me marketing texts when I never opted in. Annoying and probably illegal.

I’ve been wanting to get a perm for the summer and was really happy to find Fantastic Sams. Everyone was so friendly, and my hairstylist Hannah was wonderful! Hannah cut and styled my hair in which she did such an amazing job! She was very attentive in listening to what I wanted, thoughtful in her approach and instruments used as well as always asking me permission for each step. I am very happy with the result and definitely would recommend her to anyone who needs a good haircut, perm, or hair coloring! Front desk staff are also so kind and approachable, despite showing up a little later then expected Denise made everything work out perfectly! I have a huge appreciation for well run businesses and knew I had to give a review on this salon. Overall the stylists were all very professional and knowledgeable. The salon was very clean, organized and well maintained. I surely will be back in the future, thanks to the Fantastic Sams team!Service: Perms

My first and last time going there. This hast to be the WORST haircut I've ever gotten if I could give negative stars it would be -5. My hair is uneven and cut so "ducked" up it looks like I have a toupee on.

i went here last year for a simple trim and curtain bangs, came out with 6 inches off and the shortest and most uneven bangs ever. when i got home i showed my grandmother and she had to RECUT my bangs because they were so horrendous.Service: Haircut

Nguyet was very pleasant and nice ! It was a nice relaxing haircut. She cut it just how I liked it and was extremely thorough ! Highly recommend

I went into fantastic Sam's in boonton already having short hair looking for just a trim and I mean just that a trim nothing more, and I left with military buzz cut, she didn't use a buzzer but it was that short. I made a comment about how short it was, and she proceeded to tell me that it was the in look, tried to tell me how chic and modern it was and refused to acknowledge her wrong doing. It was so short that the color looked awful, my roots were grey and the longer part was blonde after the cut it looked so horrible nothing to cover the greys. I would never ever go back here. Not to mention she then proceeded to tell me how to raise my child. Lacked client stylist communication.
