I am writing this with a broken heart after my husband passed. But I can not even find the words to thank you Erik and your beautiful wife Damaris and staff at Newbaker funeral home. Truly it was like our home . I don’t know how I ever would have made it through last week if it wasn’t for your amazing services. From the very first day we came to you which was my husbands wishes you have treated us like family . You took care of everything even things I would have never thought of. I was numb and could not even think but You all held my hand through it all from the planning and the actual viewing and funeral services. You have made the most challenging time in mine and my family’s life an amazing experience of not just putting my husband to rest but all the detail and everything was absoluty beautiful. You went above and beyond anything I could of expected He was laid out with such respect and now his wishes were to be cremated afterwards and you are even going to bring him home to us. Today is his birthday and you’ve made his last wish he had come true. Thank you Erik again and again for being our guardian angel through all of this . You will always be like family to us.
