I called multiple companies, but no one else was willing to come out due to the dangerous conditions. Howard, however, didn’t hesitate. He and his assistant arrived promptly and immediately got to work with a level of professionalism and care that was truly impressive.

Despite the challenging situation, they handled everything with incredible precision, making sure to remove the tree safely without causing any additional damage. I was especially relieved that my roof remained completely intact—something I was really worried about. It was clear from the start that they knew exactly what they were doing, and their experience showed in every step of the process.

Beyond their skill, Howard and his assistant were also some of the nicest, hardest-working people I’ve ever met. They treated my home with respect, kept me informed throughout the process, and made sure I felt at ease in a stressful moment.

“Steve from Tesla Tree Service is truly an angel! He did a difficult rescue today to save a cat that was stuck about 80 feet up in a tree in our yard. He was so patient and kind as the cat proceeded to climb about another 20 feet up as he was trying to rescue her. She was scared and not acting very friendly. He was finally able to retrieve her and bring her safely down. Amazing to witness this poor animal rescued. I would highly recommend his services for animal rescue( which he does not charge for) and for Tree work.“

The crew all know their role and they operated flawlessly to take down a big Ash tree in my front yard. I was impressed that an actual arborist, Paul Schmeltzer, came to make a thorough assessment and answer all my questions first before scheduling work. The day of the tree trimming arrived and there were three men, one for each tree. They performed their work neatly and efficiently with initial guidance from Paul. At my request, small logs were piled neatly towards the back of the house to be used in our wood burning fireplace, and a 4-ft oak branch for a special project. “I have been a customer of Bill's, the owner of "A Cut Above Tree Service", for at least a decade. 4 large oak trees had to be cut on my property within those years.
Today, 10/30/24, a 90 foot White Oak that was 5 feet from my house was removed. The job was done by Bill and his crew within 5 hours.
His crew work caefully and as a cohesive team with Bill, who has the responsibilty of overseeing the project and working along with the crew. The equipment is up-to-date and well-maintained.
My small cottage was always treated as respectfully as the largest of mansions. He knows how people feel about their homes and, as soon as the trunk of the tree was grinded out; the clean-up began. All debris, and it was massive, was cleaned off my property and taken away in their trucks. You cannot even tell any heavy equipment drove in my yard because large pads are placed over the grass where it has to be driven. Magic!
I would never have my trees done by any other company. I am proud to know Bill and the company he created over the years and I am proud to see how this well-deserved company has succeeded!
