“I took both my 3 year old son and 5 year old autistic daughter for hair cuts today. My son did good but my daughter was totally distressed crying, screaming, throwing herself on the floor. She needed a hair cut because her hair was so long but I always get constant anxiety taking her places to get her hair cut because I know she’ll fight and I get scared places will turn us away. My husband picked her up and placed her in the chair and held her while she cried and the hair dresser was so calm and was constantly reassuring my daughter it’s okay. She had no problem cutting my daughter’s hair even though she still tried to fight. Not only did she do a great job cutting my daughter’s hair, my daughter keeps showing everybody her new haircut proudly! Totally recommend for parents with kids with autism. My son’s hair looks great as well! I will definitely be coming back here for both of my kids cuts.“
