“We chose Hernz Home Improvements for our bathroom remodel as well as flooring in the hallways/foyer and could not be happier with our decision. We had interviewed about 8 other companies in the area and all promised to do the job quicker & some cheaper — however — this was a great representation of ‘you get what you pay for’. Had we went with any of these other companies our job would for sure have been rushed, not done in a way that we would have longevity out of it and none of them agreed to pull the necessary permits needed for the project which our township required. Sebastian knew the importance of doing the project both professionally as well as ethically and we knew that we were in good hands with him & his team. Working with a company who has integrity & is honest is just as important as someone who does great work.Our bathroom needed to go down to the studs & be completely re-done. Sebastian, Gilberto, Ignacio and the entire team were amazing. Every day they arrived on time (early), prepped the area and cleaned when they were finished. Especially with our dog in the home we were concerned about nails etc and they were sure to clean up everything each day.They sent a list of the items we needed to purchase and connected us with General Plumbing Supply for the plumbing fixtures as well as Nefliz Glass Doors for the shower doors. We worked with the Tile Shop for the tile and were happy we went with their recommended professionals.Sebastian & Gilberto would check in daily on the project to be sure it was what we expected & if we requested any changes they made sure to have it all done within 24hrs with no stress on us at all. They even made it so we didn’t have to get a hotel room while the floors were done and created wooden walk ways over the area for us!Our bathroom is now stunning and a room of the home we appreciate rather than despise (the before was SO bad…not only was it outdated, but it also had a mold issue).We look forward to using Hernz Home Improvements again for future projects!Services: Tile work installation“

“I found Charlie Snowder through Google. We were looking for someone to remove a load bearing wall in our house to open things up. It wasn't a simple, straight forward remodel since it was load bearing and in addition was supporting a huge beam in one of the rooms. Charlie came over and took a look, gave us some on the spot design and construction information. He consulted with a structural engineer and got back to us with a quote within a few days. Once we gave him the go ahead and signed some paperwork, work started within a few days. Each of the tradesmen he sent to our house wore a mask and were very neat and kept things tidy. We had several different crews doing different aspects of work. Charlie kept us informed ahead of each crew as to who was coming and when. I did call him once with something I noticed that needed some touching up, he sent someone over that afternoon and did it. The end result is gorgeous! They did a wonderful job.
