“I had a great experience working with John and the team at Affordable Home Services. We used them to do a pretty big project (2nd floor extension, bathroom refinishing, and entry room rebuild) and they knocked it out of the park. We got multiple bids on this job and theirs was the most competetive. When you go with a cheaper bid there is a little bit of a fear that maybe the contractor will cut coreners, but not Affordable Home Services! Their crafstmanship was amazing; even during our inspections the town inspectors frequetnly commented on the quality of their work. I was so impressed with Sal, that I asked them do an entire new roof on my Mother's home. They did a fantastic job. Looks great. We had a bad leak that took 3 tries to fix. Didn't stop Sal until he figured it out! Turns out it was not the roof, but an old bathroom pipe that was cracked. That is Excellent Customer Service!!!

What started off feeling like an impossible project ended up turning out way better than we ever expected. Gil worked with us every step of the way, going over all the little details and making sure everything came out just the way we wanted. We had a basement door that was to small and could not fit a new washer/dryer and although it was not part of the renovation, Gil took care of us and put a new door in to fit the new washer dryer. He's fair, straightforward and honest during the sales process and his team works efficiently, are respectful of the space, clean up after themselves, and do an amazing job. He was also very patient in answering all of my questions. Lastly, he charges a price that is fair for the marketplace. We moved into a 100 year old house with 52 windows, at the time, only 4 of them opened (and were new), otherwise the rest were original single pane with half the sash weights and ropes missing and completely painted shut. This was terrible for energy efficiency and keeping heat in (or staying warm during the winter). Over a period of a year, I reached out to several different contractors, in which I was literally quoted the cost of a down payment for a house in order to get the job done. Dmitry provided one of the best prices for double pane vinyl replacement windows. When we finally locked the job in, we waited 4 - 5 weeks for the custom window orders to come through, we scheduled a date, and his team came in 3 days and replaced all 48 windows and inserted aluminum capping. The windows are absolutely perfect for the house, we feel much safer knowing that we can now open all of our windows, know that we'll be saving a lot of money on energy bills in the long term, and are so thrilled with the final result.“
