The Dog House, established in 1965, is one of the original grooming shops in South Jersey. The current owner, Lisa-Marie, has been working with animals since she was five years old and lives on a farm with her beloved pooch, Brewster, while her kitty sidekick, Sir Fancypants, resides in the shop, meeting and greeting all of the guests. In addition to conventional grooming services, they offer pet hair-coloring and a wide range of pet supplies, including leashes, collars, toys, apparel, treats, and flea & tick solutions. Customers praise the groomers for their kindness, patience, and excellent work, with one reviewer stating they've been going there for years and will "stick with these groomers forever." Another customer, who visited while in town for the weekend, was impressed by the team's ability to fit in an urgent request and their understanding of their dog's anxiety, even going the extra mile to distract the pup during the nail clipping. The Dog House is highly recommended for its friendly staff, quality grooming, and reasonable prices.
Lindsay and I have been coming here for over 2 years and we are elated with the service. They treat our dogs with high quality care and respect. They are timely, professional and affordable.
We also appreciate their thoughtfulness, always giving our fur-babies parting treats (every holiday). That’s a special bonus.

We have lived in Audubon for 23 years and have always had dogs...dogs that didn't necessarily need grooming. Recently, we adopted 11-year old Jake and you can see below, he definitely needed a spa grooming!
I called The Dog House on a Friday afternoon. Lisa Marie, the owner, picked up on the second ring! So lovely to speak with, answered all my nervous mom inquiries and was able to give us an appointment for the next morning!

Took my puppy for the first time and they were absolutely wonderful with her. Pricing was great and they gave these amazing dog treats to my dog at no charge. Very nice! She came home smelling and looking great! Would highly recommend!
