They serviced a furnace last fall, and this year when it came time to service the AC, all it needed was a normal cleaning and filter change. They are highly, highly recommended. They have been used since 1996 and were honest and reliable. However, last year and this year customers have been repeatedly disappointed. The pandemic has caused them to charge more than they should have. They were looking to recoup lost revenue. They offered an 80 or 55 gallon hot water heater and gave the 55. They came to repair a toilet and used the wrong length screws and lied about it. Under warranty, a customer was charged for the next visit. For kitchen sink and bathroom insulation replacement of existing sink, there was an overcharge of sink which was corrected but extra labor was charged. When questioned, they were told they were justified since they had to run around to get parts. Places charge for their travel time back and forth to the office as part of labor. They charge more than medical doctors. These guys used to be honest and reasonable.
We have used Pinney a few times in the past. This time we needed the plumbing under the kitchen sink replaced. Everything was great, an outstanding experience. The women on the phone was very pleasant, got me the appointment I needed and found out exactly what we needed. The 2 men that came to our home came on time. They were both very professional and friendly. They worked fast and did a great job. I could not have asked for more. Pinney to the rescue again.
Ethan was more than responsive. Couldn't have been more worried about getting our heat on. Very knowledgeable and explained everything that he found and made sure that we knew and understand everything. Couldn't thank him enough for everything he did for our family. Went above and beyond!!
