I am always looking for a GOOD massage therapist. I am always skeptical of any salon, be it with elegant ambiance or with just simple laid back welcoming feel. I have traveled to many countries around the world and can say I’ve received some amazing massages (mostly in Thailand and Vietnam) and some extremely horrible even scary massages. I was absolutely impressed with MOON SPA. Very kind greeting when I arrived, wanted me to pre pay, but was given the opportunity to pay after my hour massage. ($30.00 Dep is required to book appt. Perfectly acceptable, most Salons are requiring deposit as many time no shows happen and it’s too late to fill... read full review

Before showing up for our massages, we braced ourselves for the worst—imagining awkward silence filled with nothing but heavy breathing, a massage that felt more like a soft slap fight, and the possibility of getting put in a headlock if we didn’t tip. Thankfully, none of that happened.
The place, while not dripping in luxury, was clean and welcoming. The staff? All business, which we loved. The massages? Fantastic. And that bird? Surprisingly charming. We left feeling great and not at all in need of any self-defense moves.
As for the rumored “chokehold for a tip” situation, we couldn’t say… we were so happy with the massages... read full review

This massage was really good. It's a no frills place but it's my favorite kind of massage, affordable and well done. The woman I had even did my face and stomach, which is very hard to find places that do that at all, let alone really well.
I will be back and I'm going to recommend that everyone try this place.
