I brought Lucy to Sagamore Animal Hospital knowing she was on borrowed time. I was so sad for her and me. If it had not been for the staff's kindness, understanding and support, especially Heather, I'm not sure I would've made the right decision. They were so gentle and honest. While my heart hurts and I miss my friend terribly, I know she is not in pain and wagging that beautiful tail in doggy heaven. Thank you all! You are the very best and I will always highly recommend you to anyone who loves their pet.

Another shout out to Sagamore Animal Hospital! Not only for the wonderful care of our pups, but for the excellent Customer Service from the Front Office and the Docs. This past week we needed health reports for boarding our dogs out of state. The boarding facility kept asking for records in different formats, updated in a certain fashion, etc. I felt badly asking Sagamore multiple times in multiple emails but they responded immediately and professionally with all our requests. Great animal care and Great customer service - can’t beat it, and Thank You Sagamore Team.

Had been going to Sagamore Vet for years but unfortunately Not the same family-like feel since selling to corporate a while back. Doctors are great but the doctor who treats our dogs is leaving, tenured staff has left and now they are going to charge me a fee for using my credit card. Sadly, we’ll be going elsewhere a long with many other clients we know.

Forget other vets in Portsmouth or surrounding areas Sagamore is the only vet clinic animal hospital I will take Tuckerman to. They tackle hard to handle babies and sweeties with due diligence and care beyond my expectations. Seriously I have been to other vets clinics and hospitals

Price for a cut went from 270 to 720!!!! They were bought by a corporation and apparently cost of everything went up and they "have to put it on the customer" absolutely terrible.
