Seacoast Mental Health Center (SMHC) offers a wide range of mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Their offerings include 24-hour emergency services, individual and group therapy, couples and family therapy, substance use disorder treatment, psychiatric services, psychological and neurological assessments, as well as home and community-based services. They aim to help clients manage their symptoms and improve their lives within their communities. Clients have had mixed experiences with SMHC. Many appreciate the helpful receptionist and the availability of parking at the facility. One client, who has been with SMHC for almost 20 years, expressed satisfaction with their current psychiatrist. However, this same client raised concerns about the lack of communication and professionalism from a staff member in charge of the supportive employment program, feeling neglected and frustrated over the handling of their case. On a more positive note, another client praised their therapist for being relatable and engaging. The therapist is noted for creating a comfortable environment and using language that resonates with the client, making therapy sessions enjoyable and effective. While some clients have had positive experiences with their care providers, others have highlighted significant issues with service delivery and communication, particularly regarding support for employment and case management. Overall, SMHC is a center that provides essential mental health services but has room for improvement in client relations and communication.
Several years ago. I made an appointment with seacoast mental health. I was greeted by a wonderful lady named Betty. I was in a very bad way in a very bad spot in my life. I have had many problems with doctors that just didn't care and was ready to give up I pushed his poor ladies buttons as hard as I could. And I was good at it. And from that point on I will say this lady has saved my life. It has been several years and I owe my life to this one lady at seacoast mental health. I will say in a few short years my whole life has changed. First time at their office but have been with them for a little around a year or two online,Parking was good There were two areas and plenty of spots which was very nice,The receptionist was very helpful and quickly got me all set and the Provider I have been seeing was great as per usual.

This place, unfortunately is basically a monopoly and you have no choice! I have used there "SUPPORTIVE EMPLOYMENT" program for years also and had great results until this new person in charge TIMOTHY FIFE, the woman that was supposed to be taking my case apparently quit and I was NOT notified by Fife so Timothy Fife couldn't have called me to let me know?
