I went to rooks for the first time yesterday for my son. Elaine was so patient with him and took the time to get him comfortable because he was so scared to try a new place. She even cut his hair in the lobby because he wouldn't sit in her chair. I am so thankful and I will be back.

I’m a 70 year old male and recently started going to Rook’s (Plaistow) in 2024. I have been there twice and both times with Wellington, he is pleasant and very easy going. I am quite impressed and happy with how Wellington takes care of my hair. He asks questions and takes the time to make sure you’re getting what you want. He is very meticulous on what he is doing. My husband loves Jess, his preferred barber. So do I, yet this is a motivational review. Always a perfect cut with Jess. Yet he did a walk-in, and I don't know her name, but my husband was lucky enough to be accommodated and said he was assigned an apprentice barber and daughter of the owner. Let me just say, this young one is kick-ass, and one can see where she got her skills from. Top fade, right up there with Jess and I am so excited when I hear of kids joining a parent in business. Her passion is contagious. THIS location has a loyal following, and this is one of the reasons why. Quality!
