We recently had Olsen’s install a standing seam roof on our house. The process involved removing the old asphalt roof and applying underlayment and ice and water shield materials. Barry was able to address a vented drip edge issue that was required on this log home. Incredibly, the entire process took only two days. Olsen’s used a large crew that worked perfectly together. Each person knew exactly what their role was and worked seamlessly with each other. At the end of the job the cleanup was perfect. I would highly recommend Olsen’s for your roofing needs.
Thanks Tim and Roberta Donelon

If you're evaluating kennel placement, it's really important that you know what socialization level your dogs can tolerate / need. The 'mosh pit' model (my term) is very popular right now. That's where day care dogs & boarded dogs go out together into play areas for several hours/day. Usually the groups are large,15-ish dogs +/-. This model makes my dogs - both former rescue dogs - utterly insane. Being asked to closely socialize with a big group of strange dogs, in a strange place with new people, is waaaaayyyy too much stress for them.

I wasn't sure how they might adapt to the more traditional kennel environment at Woodcrest, but they do soooooo much better here. They've both been several times, including a full week for our vacation. I was nervous about the week - one of our dogs is a very recent rescue and had stopped eating at the rescue facility kennel - but I came back to both dogs being the same weight and no issues with eating. When we got home, they were a bit more tired than usual at home, but not jacked up or extra needy or clingy.

Woodcrest staff pay attention to how all the dogs are doing, and they will spend 1-on-1 time with stressed dogs, either in the office area or outside. Both of my dogs needed this their first few times. IME, Woodcrest doesn't let things escalate if they notice a dog starting to wig out. Other things I really like about Woodcrest: each (admittedly typical) indoor kennel space opens into it's own, larger covered run, and large garage doors cover these outer runs, and are opened in nice weather. There is also a small quiet room with crates for small dogs, my chi-mix does well there. Outside, there are several smaller pens with shade cloth, and a couple of larger yards, where dogs can go out individually or together, but Woodcrest only puts 2 or 3 dogs together after careful introductions. They claim to have never had a fight. Woodcrest can & will give your dog more outdoor time if they need it, but it's more limited than the mosh pit model.

Finally, I should note that the owners, Jay & Colleen, are retiring and the kennel will be transitioning to a new owner. UPDATE on 4/22/25: I am just as happy with the new owner, Evan, as I was with Jay/Colleen. Both my dogs have been several times in the last six months, including a stay with Evan & crew of 9 days. They both continue to do very well here, and I've had no issues of concern. The staff is very attentive - for example, they recently pulled my big dog from the kennel area when they noticed she wasn't getting enough sleep, and put her in a large crate in the laundry area for her to catch up. Both dogs react well when we arrive.

Again, your dog may love the mosh pit model - some thrive there. If not, I highly recommend Woodcrest.
